Two pieces I just completed for a Jurassic Park exhibit at a local botanical garden. Really fun to do! In other news, I was recently elected as president of the Missouri Artisans Association/Best of Missouri Hands organization. This past week, I spent a day changing out the art I display and sell at the Room for Art Gallery on Main Street in Washington, Missouri. Washington is a lovely, quaint town on the Missouri River. There are many things to see and do in their beautiful downtown area. If you've never been, it's a wonderful place to visit.

I've been on a "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" kick for the past few weeks. I addition to creating this piece, I also created one with three seagulls in flight, reread the Jonathan Livingston Seagull book by Richard Bach and also reread Richard's book "Illusions." On my way to an artist conference tomorrow, where I will spend the weekend learning new things and socializing with artists friends, both new and old! I will also be one of 6 artists hosting a fun evening activity. My project will be "reverse painting on glass." Looking forward to lots of fun!

I've just returned from my annual snowbird trip to the warm south, renewed and motivated to hit the ground running in my studio. I came back with lots of new ideas for my glass work. I'll be uploading new pieces to my store over the next weeks, so please stay tuned. Spring is on our doorstep!!
